a photographic artist based in Silver City, New Mexico.
Welcome to my digital art portfolio. My creative process begins with a click of the shutter then expands into digital painting to create the unique art you’ll find here. From food to history, nature to abstracts—and everything in between—I play and create with the compositions that catch my eye.
In other parts of my life, I’m also professional photographer, an avid motorcyclist, a blogger at Val in Real Life and Propane and Bourbon, and the owner of Sierra Mountain Passes.
I also fervently believe in giving back to my community. I volunteer for the Silver City Watershed Keepers, the Gila Native Plant Society, and I serve on the Board of Directors of the Silver City Art Association. I also support various local charities through monetary and in-kind donations
