Gila/Mimbres Community Radio is a non-commercial, volunteer-based community radio station in Silver City, NM providing a hub for community engagement and activism.

The Commons: Center for Food Security and Sustainability
The Commons’ mission is to meet the immediate needs of Grant County residents who are food insecure and strive to build community around the concepts of food justice, local self-sufficiency and sustainability. Their goal is to use locally grown, healthy, nutritious foods as the building blocks of transformational change.

Gila Native Plant Society
The Gila Native Plant Society is committed to promoting the education, research, and appreciation of the native flora of the southwest; encouraging the preservation of rare and endangered plant species; and supporting the use of suitable native plants in landscaping.

Silver City MainStreet Project
The Silver City MainStreet Project is a community economic development program working to grow a vibrant historic downtown while preserving and enhancing local culture and historic resources.
